I’ve been with Click Funnels for over five years, but after a lot of thought and going through a proper review process…it’s time to move on.

I am currently in the process of transferring everything to the BuilderAll platform. I made a quick video which gives a deeper insight into why, after all this time, I’m moving away from, Click Funnels and going to use BuilderAll as my strategic online marketing platform. This has not been an easy process and needed a lot of soul searching, but…had to be done. And you can get a $1 BuilderAll Trial to see for yourself!

Price Is Important

Price was one of the main reason’s I changed. $297/month for Click Funnels is expensive when you compare to $99 for the top level in BuilderAll. But it wasn’t the main reason for changing.

BuilderAll – Massive Savings

Yes, I am saving $180 per month on the core offering, but it’s more than that. Have a look at the graphic below and the whole plethora of tools that are included.

It’s not just the funnel builder, website builder and totally unlimited autoresponder, it’s all of the other tools. For example video hosting (saving me $200/year on Vimeo), Chatbot, Graphics builder so I can get rid of Canva and My eCover Maker even an app builder with access to the Apple Store.

I worked out I am going to save close to $400/month and…have all my marketing tools under “one roof”. One methodology, one way of doing everything I need to do for my own marketing.

Click Funnels Flaws

I know every single software has its little quirks and flaws. However, I did a couple of client projects in Click Funnels and I didn’t realise how extensive those flaws are in the platform. I’d go as far as to say there is some basic functionality missing. For example, one of my clients wanted multiple items on the order form. That is not possible in CF without either a Pro Tool or a coding hack. In my opinion that is really basic functionality that is missing. And, I found this time and time again with the platform

I had numerous conversations with CF support and they just didn’t seem interested in extending the functionality.

I will miss the extensive training from Russell and all the other partners he brings in like Frank Kern, Tony Robbins and Ryan Deiss. I will remain an avid reader of Russell’s books and keep in touch with his marketing ideas for sure. But, having been an online marketer for so long now, there is really not much added benefit in staying for the training alone,

MailingBoss Autoresponder

The autoresponder in BuilderAll is called MailingBoss. And, what I like here is its an “all inclusive” platform. You do not have to integrate with Sendgrid or any other delivery provider, everything is included, and unlike aWeber and the like…sends and subscribers are totally unlimited. So as my list increases, I’ll be making even bigger savings.

Conslusion on BuilderAll

As I said, the platform does have quirks, and it is a new way of working to learn. And, yes that does take time. But its the same as anything, dive in and get wet and you’ll soon absorb the new methods. The way I did it? I partnered with a BuilderAll expert and he guided me by the hand. He showed me the workflow which is different. However, the workflow planning is outstanding once you grasp it and it makes funnel building, and indeed business process building, a breeze.

Bottom line, BuilderAll is different, but I am more confident than ever a month into my BuilderAll journey that this is absolutely the right decision. As I learn about BuilderAll and how it works I am grateful I decided to take the plunge and make the change.

It took me a very long time to work the whole thing out! I wasted thousands on glib, flash in the pan, shiney object “how to” products that taught me very little. The techniques might have worked for a few weeks or months, but then got slapped. They were no substitute for proper business discipline.

The 30 Days book and PDFs are an amazing extra resource.

Simply, Russell asked 30 of his 2 Comma Club award winners (marketers who have billed over $1 million from a single funnel), how they would go about it if they had to start again from zero.

There is an amazing variety of business models and techniques in the 30 different stories. Virtually any online business model you might care to use is covered. Every technique you might want to emply will be in this book.

You can follow one of the plans to the letter, or you can mix and match techniques to suit your own offer or market.

Each Entrepreneur also adds a list of resoucres that they have used to build their businesses. Needless to say there are some brilliant resources mentioned. I picked up at least ten amazing time saving tools including online dictation, drawing tools, funnel script automation and tools such as Funnel Scripts.

So, that completes my review and look inside of the One Funnel Away Challenge.

For my money, Russell Brunson is a class apart in Online and Digital Marketing in 2020. To think five years ago Click Funnels didn’t exist is quite remarkable – what has been achieved. I think their turnover is well over $100 million in 2020.

But what makes it so very, very good is the level and nature of training Russell delivers to his “tribe”. If you want to build a big and successful Online Business, Russell has the coat tails you should be hanging on to.

Adding a sub domain in Click Funnels

I was fortunate to do a Zoom call with David Cox a Click Funnels expert last week. In it he shows you how to add, verirfy and connect a sub domain to your account and to then use it in your funnels.

David has kindly agreed to let me share with my subscribers and customers. So a huge thank you to David for firstly sharing this information and secondly for allowing it to be published.

Click Funnels Still The Best

Now, whilst this particular part of Click Funnels is not the easiest functionality to use. It’s the same as anything…once you’ve done it a few times, it’s not that bad. And, you can always refer back to this training if needs be.

But the main point here is that, Click Funnels is the best Funnel Building Software around. It’s got years of experience and testing behind it, and it is drag and drop simple (for the most part).

And, since Russell Brunson made the ultimate commitment to Click Funnels by stating they will be moving away from the ancilliary products they had been developing to focus solely on Click Funnels, it is getting even better. In my opinion it did need to be sped up a little and I can see that happening.

It is definitely the best of breed, and if you are serious about building an online business, you simply do need Click Funnels.

Just as an aside I met David on Paul’s Mastermind, and I mentioned in another video we have built our own support / mastermind group. This is something I really encourage you to do as well. It will offer, support, help a meeting of minds and an exchange of skills.

The 10 Mistakes Of Online Marketing

In the “10 Mistakes” report, I state that an online sales funnel is where you put cold leads in at the top and sales fall out at the bottom. This is so true. But, the idea of sales funnels have been around a long time. When I was working in industry and recruitment as a sales person, the book “The Leaky Sales Funnel” was staple reading. Everyone in the sales team had to read it. So the idea of a sales funnel is not new.

In this post, I’ll go in to a little more detail about funnels.

Value Ladder

Before you can have a funnel you really should build yourself a value ladder. I guess this is slightly more advanced given the example I’ve shown you is just a two stage funnel. The image here is taken from Russell Brunson’s superb book Dot Com Secrets, you can read my full review of Dot Com Secrets by clicking here. This is a MUST read for every aspiring marketer and was where I started out.

However, the more steps you have in your value ladder, the more likely you are to make money quickly. Each step in a value ladder needs to be a progessively more expensive product offering.

Ladder To Funnel

You can do this via your own products, or, if you are just starting out, but marketing other people’s products (affiliate marketing).

Once you have this value ladder you then need to convert it in to a funnel. Paul O’Mahony always says the funnel is an upside down value ladder. Russell Brunson talks about “from ladder to funnel”.

Essentially, the ladder is your “product journey” mapped out. So, the increasing value of products you want to take your cusomers on a journey to buy from you. The funnel is how you make that happen.

Why Build Sales Funnels

Building effective funnels is the absolute key to a successful online marketing business.

The funnel:-

• Captures your leads (customers)
• Allows you to take them on a sales journey
• When coupled with an effective autoresponder to segment your list into buying levels and deliver them the correct sales messages
• Provides you with traffic YOU own

Structure Of A Funnel

Owning Traffic

This point of traffic you own is also key. If you are paying for traffic (Facebook ads, Google ads, Solo ads etc), you do not own that traffic. If you do not collect email addresses you will always be paying for your traffic. Given that it is very difficult to make a profit on that initial sale, the list and subsequent marketing is where the money is made online.

Of course, you should always deliver value to your list members as well. You won’t get far if you just sell, sell, sell! But the fact remains, you simply must build your email list and then market to them using funnels.

Types of Online Sales Funnel

Funnels can be as complex or as simple as you like.

In the video, I show you an example of my simplest funnel. A two stage sign up funnel that promotes a back end product in order to liquidate my ad costs. This is the example of a self-liquidating funnel from Dot Com Secrets by Russell Brunson.

Again, I highly recommend you get this book if you are serious about building an online marketing business. I am mentored by and in Paul O’Mahony’s Mastermind Group and he will NOT accept anyone in to his group unless they have read Dot Com Secrets. Why? Because it lays the right foundations for building a strong and profitable business.

However, as I said, funnels can be more complex. They can also be tailored to the method of selling.

Webinar Selling Funnels

It has been proven that selling via Webinar is one of the most efficient ways of maximising sales. So, the funnel needs to be different if you want to sell via Webinars.

Here’s Russell’s Webinar Funnel taken from his Funnel Hacks product. As you can see the funnel allows for different steps which are dependent on what the customer does initially. However, as you can see, everything is based around promoting the webinar. I guess the point I am making here is that funnels can be as flexible as you need them to be.

You can, essentially, do whatever it is you want with your funnel depending on what you are selling and how.

Click Funnels

You have the ultimate flexibility, particularly if you are building with Click Funnels.

As I showed you in the video Click Funnels is point and click, drag and drop easy. If you can pint and click a mouse you can build funnels and indeed, websites in Click Funnels. One of my new friends from The Paul Mastermind group has built a business from building websites and funnels in Click Funnels. He’s already turning over $5k/month and only started two months ago.

What I also like is that Click Funnels is built by marketers for marketers. Russell Brunson has made well over $100 million online. He knows what it takes to make a successful funnel. After all, he is the accepted funnel expert. What he doesn’t know about building online sales funnels, probably isn’t worth knowing. Given his experience, the fact that he actually builds the platform gives me great confidence it’s the best of breed.

Yes, there are others trying to break in to the market, but, in my humble opinion, Click Funnels has a clear lead and it is the best platform.

No Hosting Or Domains

I also like the fact that you don’t need to buy your own domain and have your own hosting with all the hassle that brings. I’ve been building websites since 2006, and believe me all the hosting and technical stuff that hangs around it is a pain in the proverbial backside. Especially when things go wrong.

If something goes wrong in Click Funnels they have amazing support and they fix is very quickly.

It really is a no brainer!
