I did this because some of the Guys in the group were using Blogger for their Blogs or using platforms like Wix or GoDaddy. Some people also thought you needed to pay for WordPress. I also show you how to isntall WP for free. I did another post on this subject a while back which you can find here.

There was also a suggestion that Click Funnels could be used for a website platform. I’m not sure CF offers the functionality you’d need to build an effective blog. I talk a lot about plugins and the functionality they offer, a lot of which I do not believe is available on CF (as a website platform). If you are building funnels or membership sites, Click Funnels is definitely the place to be (see my review of Click Funnels here), bgut for your blog, wel…I’m a big WordPress fan.

WordPress is free! Of course it is, but…let me tell you a story!

As you probably know, I am in Paul O’Mahony’s mastermind group. I love Mastermind groups because you get to learn, not only from your coaches and your mentor, but also from other people. And, in a group like Paul’s there is such a wide a varied expeirence, you are always learning new and useful things. And you learn from people in a wide variety of different businesses.

However, the flip side is, that sometimes, things you take completely for granted are total unknowns to other people.

One of the Guys was talking in a “show and tell” session and it transpired his web developer was charging him to use WordPress. Now I know when you install via Quick Intsall you do get paid options. But, this is marketing puff! Why pay $149/year when there is a clear free option that works perfectly well?

So, I did what I like to do in these situations and I made a quickl video about it.
