WordPress Basics Installing WP To Settings

It was me on duty again last night in the Digital Marketing Mastermind Group. I did a presentation on WordPress basics from installing WP to the best start up settings. I also covered a few other bits and pieces on how to set up your WordPress installation.

I did this because some of the Guys in the group were using Blogger for their Blogs or using platforms like Wix or GoDaddy. Some people also thought you needed to pay for WordPress. I also show you how to isntall WP for free. I did another post on this subject a while back which you can find here.

There was also a suggestion that Click Funnels could be used for a website platform. I’m not sure CF offers the functionality you’d need to build an effective blog. I talk a lot about plugins and the functionality they offer, a lot of which I do not believe is available on CF (as a website platform). If you are building funnels or membership sites, Click Funnels is definitely the place to be (see my review of Click Funnels here), bgut for your blog, wel…I’m a big WordPress fan.

So, here’s the video from last night. Inevitably in a mastermind group the subject matter does wander sometimes, but…in my humble opinion that makes it all the more interesting and of course adds some value for you too. Enjoy.
